The shared services sector in Poland has been undergoing rapid development. Currently, Poland is the first country in the EU and the third worldwide in terms of people employed in shared services centers (SSCs) and business process outsourcing (BPO).
Even though many companies have already invested in this sector, these investments are intertwined with risk and a constant striving to effectively utilize resources. An indispensable strength in this field is a very good knowledge of the local legal and business environment.
ABSL expects the number of employees in the Polish BPO/SSC sector to exceed 300,000 in the first quarter of 2019. Poland attracts investors with its specialized and qualified workforce and a proficiency in many foreign languages. Moreover, relatively low labor costs and an attractive tax system are just further arguments that convince firms to create SSCs in Poland.
Mazars, as an experienced and integrated audit and tax company, has been present in Poland since 1992. Over the years, it has acquired knowledge and experience which can be priceless for foreign and local investors. We offer a wide range of services, for entities planning to invest in Poland as well as for companies that have already done so.
Mazars was the Auditor of the 2019 CEE Business Services Awards which were held on January 30th and 31st at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw. During the event, Top Business Services companies (SSCs, CoEs, GBS, BPOs, and Digital Sourcing companies) were distinguished for their excellence within the Business Services sector of Central Eastern Europe.
